The NYC Office of Emergency Management is hosting a Family Emergency Preparedness Fair at the Staten Island Children's Museum to promote family and community disaster and emergency planning now and throughout the year.

Admission to the Children's Museum and Festival is free with online registration. Join us to learn how to prepare your family, parents, kids, pets, and business to be ready if disaster strikes. Kids can meet emergency responders and check out their vehicles. There will be a number of community organizations with booths and information.

There will be no morning session on this day.  If you would like tickets for any other day, please visit our Tickets page.

Before visiting SICM, please review our Guidelines for Visiting.

1. All visitors, including members, must reserve tickets in advance to be assured of admission.  Each person can only purchase up to 5 tickets due to the limited number of people allowed into the building at this time.

We are doing contact-less scanning check-in for all guests. Please have your tickets available either printed or on your mobile device. As a backup, note your ticket numbers.

2. Adults must be accompanied by a child and children accompanied by an adult in order to enter.

3. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by all Guidelines for Visiting and any additional safety protocols that may be in effect upon your arrival. Additionally, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give your permission to use your likeness in promotional and/or marketing materials.

Please contact our Visitor Services Manager, Adunola Sonaike, at asonaike@sichildrensmuseum.org or (718) 273-2060 ext. 262 if you have any questions or concerns.
